30 Sep News from the ISO
The International Service Organization of SAA Inc. (ISO) is a nonprofit that conducts the service activities of the Fellowship. In performing their duties, the trusted servants of the ISO seek God’s will, and follow the spiritual principles of our foundational documents which include the Bylaws of the ISO, AAs 12 Concepts of Service, the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions of SAA. The mission of the ISO is to: “serve member groups by helping carry the SAA message of recovery to the sex addict who still suffers”.
The ISO is composed of four main bodies. First, the Board of Trustees has the legal and fiduciary responsibility to conduct the business of the ISO. Second, the Conference, which is composed of members elected from the SAA Fellowship who serve as delegates of the Conference. This body is guided by the spiritual principles as mentioned above but in addition its responsibilities are framed in the Conference Charter. Next, the Literature Committee is responsible for review of all literature to be distributed to the fellowship. Finally, the Corporate Office in Houston Texas, conducts the day to day business of the ISO.
In Gratitude and Service,
